Bathroom & Kitchen Remodeling in Smyrna, TN

A straight 46-mile run up I-24 from our Manchester shop. Smyrna’s 2000s subdivisions are hitting their first remodel, and that is the work we do.

Remodeling in Smyrna

The first remodel
on a 25-year-old house.

Smyrna is 46 miles up I-24 from Manchester, about 55 minutes with Christiana as the halfway mark. It has grown 19 percent since the 2020 census, from 53,515 people to 62,227, which makes it the largest town we work in.

The housing tells you what the town needs. The median Smyrna home was built in 2000. Better than four in ten went up after that, a quarter of them between 2000 and 2009 alone. Those houses are now old enough that the builder-grade finishes have given out: the garden tub nobody has filled in a decade, the shower pan that was cheap the day it went in, a laminate counter and a backsplash of 4-inch squares.

That is a different job from restoring a 1920s bungalow, and it is a job most remodelers treat as too small to bother with. We take it. Pulling one tired master bath down to the studs and rebuilding it right is the work Bluerock does best.

Around Smyrna

We take bathroom, kitchen, and tile work across Smyrna, from the older streets near the center of town out through the Rock Springs and Stewart Creek areas and the newer subdivisions that filled in after 2000.

Nissan has assembled cars here since 1983, more than ten million of them, and employs around 8,400 people. Add Asurion, Vi-Jon, and StoneCrest and you get a town of long-tenure households who stay put and put money back into the house. We are the crew that spends it well.

Smyrna is a drive for us, so we will say it straight: we quote the job, not the mileage. There is no travel charge on the estimate, and the two owners still run the project start to finish.

Local questions

Straight answers.

Do you charge extra to come to Smyrna?

No. Smyrna sits a straight 46 miles up I-24 and we quote the job, not the drive. The price on your estimate is the price you pay.

My house was built in 2004 and nothing is broken. Is it too soon to remodel?

Twenty-plus years is right on time. Builder-grade shower pans, garden tubs, and laminate counters all age out around then. We can rebuild one bathroom now and leave the rest of the house alone.

Can you replace a garden tub with a walk-in shower?

That is one of our most common jobs. We take the tub out, rebuild and waterproof the pan and walls, and hand-set the tile. A standard full bath runs four to seven working days, demo to walk-through.
