Smyrna is 46 miles up I-24 from Manchester, about 55 minutes with Christiana as the halfway mark. It has grown 19 percent since the 2020 census, from 53,515 people to 62,227, which makes it the largest town we work in.

The housing tells you what the town needs. The median Smyrna home was built in 2000. Better than four in ten went up after that, a quarter of them between 2000 and 2009 alone.
